Did I mention that, between Paris and Kaua’i, Lormot and I held a yard sale and (mostly gave away) sold everything that we had duplicates of. At the end of the day (isn’t it refreshing to hear somebody say ‘at the end of the day’ while referring to the end of an actual day? or maybe it’s just confusing) it was clear she had to move in. It has been wonderful–I’m happy you’re my partner Lormot.

Fire Hydrants of San Francisco Speak to Me
Comments Off10 Oct 2006 / UncategorizedI have half a dozen social networking startups to get out of my system. (’Agile’ might be an emerging software engineering practice, but it seems that it can also act as a gentle laxative to cure venture capital irregularity. I want a dose.) Meanwhile, I grind the office down with morning doughnuts and cynical quips about working in a mortuary. And paint. The fire hydrants still haunt my dreams, and it is prescribed therapy for me to paint them. And interpret what they say to me as I walk down Church Street. I had some fun painting what I thought was a rooster on our recent trip to Kaua’i.
